I will enjoy this site very much. I'm a big fan of Euro culture, especially in Belgium and the Netherlands but also in France. My sister lives in Brussels and I have friends who live on the French south coast near Nice. I regularly visit Paris.
I often find it disquieting when Brit expat sites indulge in a round of mindless French-bashing and the whole American "cheese eating surrender monkeys" just appalls me (as my girlfriend noted, "At least the French don't make cheese that can be seen from space") All cultures have their faults and blind spots, and the British and the cultures of our adopted countries are certainly no exception.
In future, I'll just go to this site and enjoy it.

Just thought I would update my post on Francopats.
They are now a social networking website like myspace and facebook.
They have many of the old features still like ecards and stuff, but now you can add photos, videos, classified adds and all sorts. Looks good for dating too.
Well done Francopats, good luck to you.
