Hello!
I'm Ian, originally from Chester-le-Street in the Northeast. I've lived in Oxford and London for the last 8 years or so.
I married Sara (a Minnesotan) almost two years ago, and we decided to have a couple of years in England, and couple in the US, and we'd see which we preferred. We moved to Minnesota on 1st April (yes, we're April fools...) and, well, here I am.
Fortunately I managed to get a job pretty quickly, so things are ticking a long nicely. Not missing Blightly too much yet (missing friends, of course) although coming the this board made me feel slightly more homesick than I was before. Nice to have it here, though. (Sara used the americanexpats.co.uk site when we were in England, and reminded me of this one's existance.)
Currently missing orange squash.
