Since it has been more than 90 days for our EAD renewal we now have the pleasure of visiting the Newark office.

I just wondered if anyone else had queued up there before and could give me an idea of what time to get there by - 4 or 5am sound about right???? Also is it an all day type of event - bring sandwiches and thick book???

Cheers
Last time I went there was pre 9/11. Ended up getting there around 6ish with the two children. Should of went earlier....... 4/5am sounds good. I had to go for an advance parole and finally got out of there at around 4pm. However when we went for an interview we were in within 10 minutes.

Sorry can't be of much help.

In the past when I have not had appointments, I got to the queue between 6am to 7am and still got in and out by about 930 am. The last time I was there without an appointment was Nov 03.
When I had a 1030 am appointment in July 04, got straight into the building at 9ish and was seen around 11 ish.
Those were my experiences anyway.
Sounds like things have improved slight Moi. I need to go again and have my letter stamped however I doubt if I can. Last time security gave me hassle about me taking the two children and it only being me. Since we now have the three.................. roll I couldn't stand in line and had to go to the waiting room and be called.
Just to let you know that Newark now opperates under the InfoPass system and you need to book an interview in advance (online). They no longer see people who have queued up.

Luckily our lawyer told us of this change in system the day before we were due to wake up at some ungodly hour to go hang out at the lovely Newark location! A tip for using InfoPass, they release one day (two weeks in advance) at a time - best to use the site either late at night or early in the morning, as by the afternoon all the appointments may have been nabbed!
