When I was a little older than that we used to holiday in London and we'd stay at a caravan site on the grounds of the Crystal Palace. Doesn't look like it's there anymore, though.

Back in the easy days of 1998 I went down to London, and I went down Carnaby Street and as as few of you may know there's a sports shop there (it was featured on Bend It Like Beckham) and I got in there just before it was closing, and I asked them if they had a Crystal Palace scarf and they gave me this scarf and I paid for it and made my way back to the railway station and back home.....

Anyhooo........ when I left the UK I put my Crystal Palace scarf in my suitcase (for sentimental reasons) and eventually I showed my wife the scarf which I never really used, and you know what was the first thing she asked me? She said Why have they spelt Crystal Palace with a 'H' ?

I looked at the scarf and tried my best to hide my cringing, I never even realised that they spelt the name Chrystal Palace o o

I felt such a charlie D D
That was embaressing moment #50909898776634 wink wink

What would you expect after almost 70 years?????

Monster might have been referring to the caravan park rather than the Chrystal Palace. )
