Just got back from having my H1 processed after spending 3 hours waiting......not bad really but the whole thing is organised chaos.

If you have to go I'd advise not arriving b4 you appointed time and then going to the front to find out which line is for what (there's a line for each time slot).

The woman behind the counter was clearly bored with her job and seemed to be on auto-pilot asking the same (irrelevant) questions several times, but I'm approved again so don't care!
We've just got back from doing the same thing.

We didn't have to wait in line outside, but once we were in, and after taking our ticket, we had to wait 2 1/2 hours to give in our paperwork, then another 2 1/2 hours for our interview. (Interview consisting of 3 questions

1) Did Tom still work for the same company?

2) Which company was that?

3) Did I like it here?

And that was that. It was worth it though as the passports arrived 2 days later instead of a week as predicted.
