Anyone got a clue what they are called over here?
When I look it up on the net I either get UK sites or almonds that are cooked in sugar.
Candied almonds, sometimes even wedding almonds, cos of the color they're dished out at weddings apparently.
Safeway supermarkets do them in the bulk area at a very reasonable price. D
I was asking cos my cousin wants some for her wedding. lol
Pity we don't have a Safeways here, but we do have Shaw's which I'm pretty sure is owned by them. Will have to take a gander next time I'm down that way.
I think that they are called Jordan almonds and a quick search on the web should give you plenty of places where you can buy them online.

I think you can get them in party shops like "i party" and those sort of places and I think they are called Jordan almonds.
