Just watched an excellent programme on Trio with Ray Davis discussing his music. I (or I should say we) have always been great Kinks fans from the very early days and always thought Ray was a very talented lyricist.
He described events that happened in his life that inspired so many of his songs. It was great to hear so many of them again...I had to hunt out our Kinks Greatest Hits1&2 CD's and now that will be my "driving music" for the week. Very good and nostalgic programme, we enjoyed.

Did he talk about his strange rivalry with his brother and where that stands right now?

No he didnt Lee, he praised his brothers guitar talents a lot but that was all that was mentioned. I need to surf some sites to get more info.
