For those who know him, Arthur Kane of the New York Dolls passed on this week. As ever, the Telegraph write a good obituary for him.

My fave bit being "Their music was brutal, degenerate, loud - amplified by maximum distortion and feedback, and terribly, terribly bad; their one-time manager Malcolm McLaren (who went on to manage the Sex Pistols) described them as "chaos incarnate"."

One of my mates was a roadie for them in the 70's. He was at the reunion they mention in the article.
