Talking the other day with a group of work colleagues about restaurants and I happened to mention how many Brits enjoy Indian food.
One of the guys said “Oh yeah, we had that once. It's made with curry. I didn't like it. Gimme a good steak anytime”. That's exactly how he said it. Now there's a tosser.
These people have lived such a sheltered life.
Ya see the crap I have to put up with living in the Midwest.
You get that crap all over, though -nowt to do with the midwest. Wish I had a penny for every time I've heard a Brit say they "don't like any of that foreign muck" -I mean look at what they serve in restaurants on the Costa Del Sol. Indian food is very popular in Ann Arbor. Mind you, there are quite a lot of Indians here D. Me, I can't be doing with any of that spicy stuff ;)
...and I'll go for the plate of grits. )

Doubt if there were very many under the age of about 75.

You've never worked in a fish and chip shop on a Birmingham council estate, have you? ;)
No, never even been on a council estate in Birmingham.

Then I think you'd find I'd be considerably richer than yow if "I had a penny for every time I've heard a Brit say they "don't like any of that foreign muck" :D
Whatever makes you happy, Monster. I'm surprised you are bragging about your wealth on an open board, though.
