G'Day,
I left St. Helens, Merseyside, (then lancashire) in 1976 with my ex-wife to join my brother in the very sunny city of Perth, Western Australia. Nobody thought to tell me how hot the temperature gets here and certainly nobody told me about these blasted flies (swat). All in all though it's a great place to live in spite of it's downfalls. Americans I have spoken to say that Perth reminds them of California 50 Years ago before the population explosion and the SMOG.
