Hours after I file an 'official' change of address for with the INS, I get a notice saying that my fingerprint appointment for Naturalization is in Atlanta on May 15th. Problem is that we're moving off to Ohioland on the 1st. Any suggestions on what to do? I was thinking of flying down but Michelle says that my case is now out of juristriction of Atlanta/Texas Service Center.
) I would stick to the appointment. They are really hard to change in mid flow, so to speak. They would have to send your file to a new service centre and be given to a new officer etc etc. Maybe worth phoning them and asking, but tell you the truth I have never had much faith in the call centre, because they tell you one thing and when you get to speak to another person , you get told something else, drove me nuts. Good luck
Goose is right. Get fingerprinted at the regular time - you'll have a hell of a job trying to reschedule in Ohioland...
