For those who don't know - she was 42 and had breast cancer. Sad. She was a good presenter I thought (yeah I know she is younger than me and therefore I was really too old to be watching BP when she was on it).
Manc has put this on the main board, KG.

But it is very sad. I didn't even know she had cancer. She was only 4 years older than me. cry
I just editted my thread so people come to here.
Thanks. Sorry I didn't see yours first, manc - but I did put it in the right forum! lol
Blimey. (

Starting to feel mortal.
Very sad news. Didn't realise she had been battling with BC. (

I didn't realise she had cancer either. She must have found it around the time of the birth of her second child because she is 7 years old now. BBC are saying she was 41 - not that one year really makes that much difference. Just brings it even closer to my own age.

It is just so sad cry
It's always sad when someone so young dies.

At my age however (74 this year) I look upon every year as a bonus.

All of the people that were household names in my childhood are long gone. But then we didn't have much else than the BBC and Radio Luxemberg to listen to. Simple times.
Jeesh. I can't believe that. cry
Yet another well known Brit TV personality has gone. Makes you feel very mortal indeed. (
I've just been looking at the funeral pics. Very sad. (
Blubbing at the pics here too.
