I went to an induction meeting for teacher assistants last week, I brought along my work permit, and then horror of horrors noted that it expires in July. I have no idea why I didn't at least get a permit for the duration of my current visa, which expires Jan 2005.
Hubby's company are renewing our visas for us, can anyone tell me if I should be asking hubby to hassle them about it, as I think someone has mentioned they take a while to come through, or if it's a renewal like ours will it be quicker? It's just that I need the new visa to apply for a new work permit...
Dunno much about it Lizzi, but I got my EAD a couple of weeks ago and they only last for one year and you have to re-apply 90 days before it expires. Shouldn't make any difference about your Visa as they should have all that info on record.

Speak to the HR peeps at hubby's work. You still have plenty of time to get it renewed.

Good luck!

Not that I wish to panic you -you're probably using different processing offices and all- but our EADs etc expire in September, and the lawyer fedexed the renewal applications yesterday. And processing is getting slower, apparently.....
