Should be a cracker.
Igive it to Arsenal. They look better than any other team I've seen.

  Just wait and see Mr B..... dont write my Chelsea lads off yet

I read this headline and wondered how a team like Chelsea could possibly have a keep crisis-
"Chelsea In Keeper Crisis"

http//news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/3503522.stm

After all, Chelsea have-

Carlo Cudicini
Neil Sullivan
Jurgen Macho
Marco Ambrosio
Yves Makalambay
Lennie Pidgeley
(and come this summer) Petr Cech

How can a team with this many keepers have so many out?
Pah! 'Real' teams have squads far smaller than Chel-ski. What a waste of money having that many keepers.

Meanwhile, back on planet Earth......

Funny you say that because when I was a kid of about 5 or 6, I thought the whole Plymouth team were goalies because they were wearing green. True story!

At least not because they all got a turn at picking the ball out of the back of our net - those days are hopefully long gone....

We should be like Reading and not ever have to wear an away kit - they get some Royal decree that says they can always wear their blue and white stripes and us - well as the only team in England (except for Yeovil who are newbies) that wears green, we just have no need for away strips except for the revenue from fans buying it.

Problem is that our new kit for next season is again orange (Dundee United) but our link with them is now gone, under a cloud to Southampton and no one in their right mind will be buying/wearing it next season.

Back to green for away games I think......

Didn't you used to wear it the other way round - white shirts, green shorts at some point? I'm sure you wore your away kit at our place once or twice because some stupid referee thought that green was too close to yellow...

Yeah, I bet Reading still get to wear their home kit at QPR... :D

Anyone going to watch Arsenal Vs Chelsea on ESPN tomorrow afternoon?
Thinking about it but I have some mates coming round my house Thursday lunch time for Barcelona vs. Celtic so probably a bit naughty to skive off two lunchtimes in a row.

Yep, got some friends from my footie team coming round to watch it. Amazingly nobody seems to work on Wednesday afternoons so they will be bringing beer and snacks. Should be quite an afternoon.

I hope the next leg has a little more exciting!!
There was 10 minutes of goals and pressure and then stalemate. Thats more like the Arsenal of old!! )

Come to think of it was that Alan Sunderland up front for them? wink
