Hello Everyone,
I am Deborah I'm 37 married to a Brit, no children but proud owner of Laurel The Wonder Dog.
I have been living in the US for 7 years. Came over when my husband was offered a job in NJ. Have lived in Montclair, Montville and Newton in NJ.
The company Simon worked for was purchased by a CT company which is how we ended up moving here 2 years ago.
When we got green cards I worked for Bevals Saddlery shop in Gladstone NJ http//www.Beval.com. I used to horseride back home and very sadly had to sell my beloved horse Rosie when we moved here, much blubbing I can assure you!
I have just recently opened my own tinie tiny gift shop in Mystic. Its called Curious Hound and I carry fun and fabulous gifts for hounds and their humans (and their feline friends)
I have found myself getting more and more homesick over the last couple of years but I think moving from NJ didn't help
I discovered the BritNet board when we were still living in NJ and found Pollywolly endlessly amusing (sorry I know I shouldn't encourage him/her)and did briefly exchange emails with some lovely Britnetters in NJ then the move to CT over took me and I lost touch with Britnet and when we had settled here I couldn't find the board anymore. So I was overjoyed to recently discover it again especialy in its fancy new all bells and whistles format, dare I say chichi, no, no thats another thread.
I will post this now and when I manage to "make up" woops I mean "think of" some more interesting facts about myself I will add them on
