I was wondering the other day about how players and managers in football deal with dropping from the peak of like the premiership to division 3!

The example I will use is ole Peter Taylor! Remember him? Once saviour of Leicester city with his sleak passing teams and not to mention right hand man of Sven Goran. From potential England manager to managing Hull! All it seems it like no time at all. I have nothing against lower teams, my beloved Notts are one of 'em!

Even I remember the days of Peter Reid and Steve Nichol playing for Notts! I just womder from Anfield to Meadow Lane!!

Any more examples out there of saviours to who was he??
What about Neil Webb......one minute he was the hot new prospect for England, the next he's playing for Aldershot.
Nigel Clough
Anfield to Burton Albion.
Oh Aye,
George Best played 2 games for Stockport.

Luther Blisset's history reads great.

Clubs
Brentford
Watford
AC Milan
Gazza. Is he still playing for that Chinese outfit? I heard he was going to DC United at one point.
recently I'd pick Neil Redfearn. He was having a quality season a few years back and now where is he? Boston Utd if I remember right.
It's the ones going the other way that's currently got me down in the dumps.

Division Two manager to mid-table Premiership side is some leap and not a bad salary increase either. We just can't compete with that at present cry
