No, not too late. It may be tomorrow now, though -the weather is yuck and nothing at the Showcase round the corner had an immediate appeal -hence the need for recommendations.
What type of movie is Girl with a Pearl earring then?

I'm not very up to date with films. However the last one I saw out was Master and Commander, it was fantastic.

Sorry I can't be of any help as we haven't been to the movies for ages. We actually enjoy going to the pub when we get the opportunity which isn't very often.
Hope you find something to watch today )

Girl With a Pearl Earring may not be your cuppa tea, but it is based on a novel based on the life of Vermeer and purports to be the story of how the painting of the same name came about. It is a pure work of fiction although some of the characters and their lives are real.
Anyway I enjoyed it.
Hubby also recommends Master and Commander.
I think the new one with Tom Hanks in it - a remake of the old Ealing classic "Ladykillers" might be worth a look - but not sure if it's even out yet!

Cheers. Lost in Translation was recommended by the tot-time mums, will check to see what time it's on. Didn't notice Master and Commander in the listings. Can't find yours on here, KG -perhaps it's not got this far yet? Will take another look.

So have you been and if so what did you see?
Have seen these lately,
Master and Commander.
Big Fish,
Mystic river (which is still playing where we are) was my favourite of the three.

We made it! We saw Cold Mountain and very good it was too (not much choice at that time of night so I reckon we did OK D) Damn it was long though! lol We only just got home.
Should be going out with the tot-time mums next week, so will keep your recommendations in mind, although Master and Commander finished playing locally last week. Mystic River is still on here -Beest reckon's it's not much cop *groan*.
Thanks all.

Mysitic river is supposed to be extremely good, if you like that sort of thing, unfortunatley i've read the spoilers and the subject matter wouldn't appeal to me.
Fortunately Cold Mountain was enough of a last minute decision i didn't get to read too much about it first ( plus of course i can't get near the computer at home)
