Rasheed Wallace.
any good or what, heard off the grapevine he's got a bit of a tempter/mood problem.
(then again Larry Brown looked after Iverson ok at Philly)
so how do you rate the lad?
(Oh good basketball - for a minute, I thought you were going to gloat that Argyle have got 1 point from 9 and are currently second, probably about to go third tomorrow) (
Liked him - sad to see him go but he could be right mardy.
Home fans were booing him when he came on after he'd been in the news for drug arrests, being rude to the press, threatening NBA referees etc.
Record holder for most technical fouls in a season etc. etc.
Still, he was a great character and a fine defender but after my initial disappointment wore off, I watched the Blazers play last night and the three squeaky-clean replacements for Wallace and Bonzi Wells (another mardy one) weren't bad at all.
Still, with Wallace, he's not really a team player and the first whiff of trouble, the child in him will come to the fore.

I could only dream of one point in nine.............
Manc,
Wallace will prove a good buy for Detroit. He's a franchise player (skill-wise) and I think the Larry will be able to keep him (somewhat) reigned in. His only weakness (apart from his attitude and foul trouble) in my opinion is his propensity for the outside shot when he should drive to the hoop.
I think he'll definitely help Detroit's playoff run, although when Ron Artest is back for the Pacers, they will make their run and wind up as Eastern champs.
Agreed with Indiana sentiments, but then again, losing Rick Carlisle will be a big mistake IMO, he may not be well liked as a coach, but you can't deny he has a good record as a coach.
Detroit have a half decent team then it appears with the Wallace's Hamilton and Chauncey.
you never know we might do alright, but then again we play TWolves tonight and our losing streak of 1 win in 7 may cbe 1 win in 8 through the weekend.
