Hello from 41c/106f Melbourne at least, it will be tommorow... oh, where to begin and not bore everyone to death?
From the UK, a little town in the SE corner, Ramsgate not too far from Canterbury lived in the UK till I was 27 and got out, after working 10 years at the same job at the local port I flew over to Melbourne initially for 3 weeks to meet a lovley young woman I met on ICQ in 1997.
3 weeks turned into 6 months and 9 months we got married, the rest is emigration-history!
We passed 5 years of marriage last September and I am very happy to be in Australia, doing things I just couldn't do or hope to do in the UK.
I miss the place, but when I go back I can't wait to leave and come home to Australia... the wife is from Birmingham which makes me laugh, seeing I've moved to the other side of the world to marry another Brit! LOL
