The BBC today reports on poor teenagers in the UK who have taken the safe sex message on board but can't afford condoms so are resorting to cling film and crisp packets.

So, having spent the money and succeeded in getting the safe sex message through, should the authorities now invest more money to furnish their audience with condoms, spend money to find a way to stop teenagers having sex or consider their job done and walk away?

(crisp packets!!!! o)

perhaps more useful if the little blue packet contained a johnny?
While a little tight, I've always found Crunchie wrappers to come in handy in a pinch.

How about a curly wurly wrapper
Haven't you always been able to get free condoms at Family Planning/Planned Parenthood centres both here and in the UK? Is the difference that these places are not federally funded?
I think there just aren't enough to go round (....ugh! hideous visions of a black market in used condoms just popped into my head -pass the crisp packets! :o)

Milne Centre for Sexual Health turns away 550 people a week.

Why are poor people allowed to have sex anyway?
Perhaps no-one wants to get close enough to stop them?
