Hi my name is Kate and like the subject says I am in the Garden State, Fair Lawn in Bergen County. I have lived in the States for nearly 2 years, first year in an apartment in Hackensack.yuk! My Husband is American I met him on good old AOL 3 years ago and then I was living in a little town in Hampshire and didnt think for 1 minute I'd be living in the States but life is full of surprises.
I go back to the UK often as my daughter lives there and she is pregnant and it's my first time at being a grandma so it's special but I don't admit to being a Grandma in person.
I miss the UK and all the things I took for granted like fish and chips and a pint of stella lol. Driving is a whole new experience I'm practising being able to talk on the phone, drink coffee and not indicate, and if there isnt a roundabout I'll just keep going straight, hate the U-turns.
I would dearly love to talk and meet up with fellow Brits and share experiences and just have a good old chat over a drink.
