Our new Stop and Shop has just opened today and it is wonderful. Huge, got everthing, reminds me of the supermarkets back home and the british/irish section is great. Even to the point that they didn't have crunchies in and when I mentioned this to one of the managers that were floating around, he said he would get on to it right away as the rep was coming in later today D
They have a huge isle of natural foods and products. They even have Quorn which I love.
I am going to be broke by the end of the weekend after I have done all my shopping there D
UKM, you have to come up to see it. It is right next to Best Buys, just round the corner from the end of our street.

KG, we used to have one that you could walk to from our house. I would sometimes send James or Katy to pick up some bits during the summer holidays. There were no main roads to cross at all. But it was only a small stop and shop and not very well organised. We had no british/irish section where as we know other Stop and Shops do.
Anyway, they have been building this one up a little and over the road from the old one. the old one is closing and we are supposed to get a Bed, Bath and Beyond just there now. The new stop and shop is huge. Its very similar to the purpose built ASDA back home. You know the ones that are big and sell everything. This doesn't sell clothes but it does sell household items, toys, dunkin donuts etc. And there is an upstairs that we are wondering if they are going to put in a cafe. I will try and find out today.
So, when everyone comes to our house one day D you can all come and visit our new stop and shop wink
