Someone told me to go try out a store called Premier Gourmet about 15 minutes drive from me, so I did. And boy was I happy. I walked out with-

Maltesers
Smarties
Rowntrees Fruit Gums
Coffee Crisp
1 packet dark chocolate Hobnobs
Pack of Prawn Cocktail crisps (you better believe it)
Jacobs Crackers
French Stick ($1.39)
4 cans Murphys (special - not normally in stock)
4 cans Kronenbourg (special)
1 bottle Bishops Finger
1 bottle Old Speckled Hen
Caerphilly Cheese
Double Gloucester Cheese
Red Leicester Cheese
Beef Tongue

This store is fantastic! It has the best selection of cheeses (including your old favorite english, Welsh, Scottish and Irish) and beer (everything that Tesco sold and much more) that I've come across. Their bakery was fantastic too. You can check them out at http://www.premiergourmet.com. I am one happy man.
Sweet! Worth the trip just for the Murphys. I had forgotten about that until you mentioned it.

Enjoy - best I can rummage up is World Market 45 minutes away.
What do you buy there?
Now where's that *seething with jealousy* smiley! wink

Lucky jammer! D

Good for you. Enjoy your beef tongue. Is that something welsh people eat?
He must be from the Isle of Man. wink
It sounds interesting Mr B. We like double Gloucester cheese we usually get it from Kings. I tried Premier's e-mail but had no luck, it is not listed.I suppose I shall have to phone them!!
What a haul!

"Did you tell them about the deviants?"

Beef tongue is just some sandwich meat - good stuff. Have no idea if it is what Welsh people eat.
