For my cinephile Brits.
"Station Agent", now showing in the 'arty houses' is a superb 'different' type of picture, blew my mind.
It is a great movie isnt it!!

I finally got to watch this today and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was brilliant 8)

I havent got to watch it yet, but I will.
Never heard of it, I'm off to IMDB
Looks pretty good. I'll have to get that and watch it with the missis.
Dinklage is an excellent actor (and hilarious name). I'm seen a fair few films with him in and he's always superb.
We ordered this of Netflix and it's been sitting around the house for a week. Now I know it is good I'll get a move on..
I don't know if I did a faux pas by resurrecting this thread but I just thought I'd say that I eventually got to watch Station Agent o
I thought it was very quirky and funny in parts, and was an extremely well acted film. the lead character Finbar wants nothing but solitude and isolation and up pops two well meaning people who have nothing to give but friendship. I loved the offbeat subtlety of the film with an underlying message about how people react and treat someone who is socially classified as 'different'.
I felt a kinsmanship with Fin, afterall he's was a flustrated railwayman too wink
Rented it from netflix

Not the average run of the mile movies well worth watching ....
