Zinzan Brooke sure seems to think so. Check this story out

Zinzan said, "If you play that badly and win by that many points, it doesn't bode well for the opposition", in reaction to the England v South Africa game.
I'm highly pissed off because Fox are lying to us about when they are showing games. I tuned in at 11 ET last night to watch the SA game only to be treated to France v Japan. More reasons to hate Fox, like we need them.
England are fantastic bridesmaids.
football / rugby / cricket whatever.
for the first time since the cricket world cup in the early 90's we have the chance of something huge.
The rest of the world seems to want us to fail. Especially the Welsh. The southern hemisphere seems to think it is an affront to natural evolution that we can go down there and win.
I think we can.
Apparently (according to an interview with Nicky Campbell last week), the Scotland team wants England to win. o , the reason being that Scotland will get to play the world champions every year for the next few years.
Rumour has it that Celtic fans are supporting The 'Gers tonight. What is the world coming to?
It's interesting to get the Aussie commentary to hear what they are saying about England. They claimed we were very professional and worksmanlike (they didn't use that word, but something like it) which won us the game against the Boks. Good defense too.
Wales in the quarters, France in the semis. Come on, is there really nobody who wants to discuss this? Our first world cup final in decades, and we have a realistic chance of winning.
Wales = walkover for us
France = walkover for us
You know I'm right. I stayed up and watched the Samoa match on

First world cup final since 1991.
that was a fantastic world cup too,
anyone remember Gavin Hastings spooning a penalty kick from 30 yards out in the semi finals at Murrayfield.
Or Serge Blanco crying after we kicked the French out in Paris in the Quarter finals.
Wales = walkover for us
France = walkover for us

didn't know you were the rugby type VRB.........
yeah we can do it. Would love to beat Australia in the final on their own turf in front of their own inbred arrogant convict fans, but I suspect that New Zealand will have that honour at some point.
France won't be as big a walkover as one imagines, but we can still take them.
how does South Africa fit into the mix here? they'll finish second in the group behind us, so what happens to them, apart from being arrogant to think they have a chance of winning it all despite being bobbins.
If South Africa finish 2nd in their group and the All Blacks win their group, then they meet each other in the 1/4 finals in Melbourne
So I am correct in assuming that NZ- Aus will be other semi final?
I believe they would have to face New Zealand then Australia just to get to the final. So no chance then.
South Africa and Australia beat each other at home respectively in the Tri Nations this year, so if they played Australia, they do have a chance, although New Zealand kicked azz this year, only losing one game. Thankfully to us.
So I am correct in assuming that NZ- Aus will be other semi final?
If Aus beat Ireland and win group, they will play Scotland in 1/4 always assuming Scots beat Fiji. Winner then plays NZ/SA in Semi, so yes
Ireland if second in group play France in 1/4's and the winner meets England/Wales in Semi
didn't know you were the rugby type VRB.........
I used to play in my younger days, made it onto the school team. Played on the wing because I was fast and skinny and didn't want to get tromped into the ground...
I was a tight head prop..........lost my two front teeth because of that..........
