lol Ok ok when I had sky TV back in London. I sometimes wondered why I paid for it. Now after being here nearly 4yrs. I would give anything to have it back. There was talk about sky coming over here but thats gone quiet.
Maybe I'll have to buy some great big sat dish lol
PS cannot wait for everyone to convert to digital tv.
Have you tried DirecTV? Whilst I never had Sky I assume it's comparable? I'm pretty happy with the DTV service and I only seem to loose the signal in extreme weather... ironically that's when you're most likely to be wanting to watch TV... )
Not tried Direct TV, But have cable. I hear good and bad things about both. Cable we have not lost a signal yet. But loved sitting at home Sky remote in hand watching the Cricket, Footie etc and I don't know why but this program called Bush Tucker Man. lol
What puts me off about Sat tv here is the lose of signal. With the extreme weather here you need to know whats coming at you lol
On the whole I would recommend DTV... I know what you mean by the loss of signal. I tend to revert to radio when we have tornado warnings etc. Far more reliable.
I know you can combine your Sat TV signal with a normal terrestrial signal so both appear at the TV. This is good should you want TV in bad weather.
