Palmer has endured a mixed spell (read crap!) at Stockport
Stockport County have sacked manager Carlton Palmer after their poor start to the season.
The Hatters are languishing in 21st position in the Division Two table after picking up only six points from their opening eight matches.

They might have figured it out when they realized that Carlton Palmer was in fact Carlton Palmer.
What took them so long???
We will miss his trips down to the Westcountry and his back-firing attempts at wind-up though - not to mention the almost-guaranteed 3 points or advancement into the next round (
Hopefully they will sign Joe Kinnear as his replacement....
