Really, like a care. Ipswich hit new lows, 4-1 @ WestBrom today to sink them to the foot of Div1. There was me thinking all the woes were over and we had something to build on this year, guess we are not as good as the Foxes are at screwing our way out of administration evil

Always good to beat Luton Town and today was another such occasion.
Even without Jo(k)e Kinnear there, still a nice bit of rivalry. They have lost 2-1 at our place three years in a row now. What is funny though is that they led 1-0 until the last 8 minutes. Nothing like a bit of salt rubbed in now and again.
Manc's Stockport made a decent comeback though - 2-0 down to Sheffield Wednesday and then pulled it back to 2-2 by the end.

Anybody see the wacky sending off of Darren Purse in the Fulham/Birmingham game? Birmingham scored and Louis Boa Morte ran into the net, picked up the ball, and ran away with it so that Birmingham couldnt get it. Purse ran after him and punched him to get the ball of him. Hilarious.

Only a cheating diving French git and a myopic referee robbed us of a famous victory. Ah well that football for you.
Ok so Arsenal may not have been at their 100% best but I think the pompey players showed themselves worthy of a place in the Premiership
especially Yakubu Ayegbini who out played Sol Cambell.
One to watch for the future
I dont wish to take away from Portsmouth's efforts but I could outplay Sol Campbell. Overrated, clumsy, but strong - a great player in the Emile Heksey mold!

Why do clubs hire managers who have falied so badly? Sunderland were very very poor. I even suspect Chelsea could do better than Ranieri who took Atletico Madrid down.
