Dont know how it will be where you are but on PBS tonight at 8pm where I am the Democratic candidates will have a debate chaired by Governor "Liberia Is Already A Quagmire" Bill Richardson of New Mexico.

Forget your political allegiances, your preferences, and what you think you know about anyone and admire the politics of the occasion. Maybe you could play a game with it - say take a swig of a drink every time John Kerry mentions his military background, or Howard Dean mentions how evil Bush is, or if Bob Graham starts singing, or better, if Kucinich turns up give yourself a nice big swif if he mentions outer space. Then keep in mind tonights hilarity and picture one of these guys and George W Bush doing the same thing in a year except with the added Bush "anyone not watching this show is a terrorist" factor.
Ah, the premier of 'Survivor'. Didn't know it was on PBS though.... wink

And with typical Democratic foresight it is on at the same time as the first NFL game of the season.

Genius.
Wasnt bad - not really any suprises, and a few good quotes. From what I got from it Kerry clawed some groud back from Dean, and Gephardt was his usually impressive speaking self - even if he has no hope in hell.

Two things say it for me - no Al Sharpton (plane delayed) and no invite given to Wesley Clark. Ooooh handbags at twenty paces. I knew Terry McAulliffe didnt like him but thats just rude!

And may I offer my condolences to Dennis. When members of the DNC cant even remember your name, you are in trouble.
