Saw that on TV a few years back and it still crops up in conversations with folks who remember it the first time around.
Pity the poor bloke whose new car got bombarded by whale blubber.
Didn't know OHP got the blame for it though - I thought it was the Department of Transport who had the idea of blowing up the whale.

Well I am supposed to be in Port au Prince actually but Hurricane Fabian came a bit too close, so hopefully will get over there by Saturday.
So instead, am roughing it in the hotel's pool where I have become a permanent fixture since last Sunday.
Had a mini-hurricane here the other morning but the sun came out right after and I didn't miss any pool time. Off to the beach club in a minute. Hopefully, no washed-up dead whales there!
