I just read that the BBC is going to put their programming archive on the internet so that anyone can download and watch /listen to old programmes for FREE!!! I like that idea.... )
I guess we'll jsut have to watch out for when this is actually going to happen. I wouldn't mind a few old episodes of Steptoe and Son or The Young Ones myself )
See it here

Finally I can show Mrs Rude what all the fuss is about with Captain Pugwash, Bagpuss, Camberwick Green and all that "classic" stuff from when I was a bairn.
Makes up for her making me sit through TV Land... evil
Kentgirl, if you're interested.....or any of you for that matter, I do have ALL The Young Ones on VCD that I can copy for you although I can't garuntee it will definitely work, I think it will. Plays on pretty much any DVD player only the quality isn't as good. Baring in mind The Young Ones is pretty old by now anyway, I don't think that's a problem as it's still watchable.
Only thing is, if I get too many requests I might have to ask for contributions for CDs used and postage incurred because it could get a little on the pricy side.
Ah good - I can stop feeling so guilty for downloading them from Kazaa now.
Now, we just need the music industry to catch on to this idea and all sins will be forgiven....

Not withstanding the fact that you might get sued....
;)
Not being heavy handed, but I don't think it's a good idea to be discussing copyright infringements on here...
Just a thought...
Andrew :)
