BBC Radio 2 brings live coverage of the switching-on of the world famous Blackpool Illuminations on Friday, August 29.
To celebrate the turning on of over a million lights, covering six miles of Blackpool Promenade, BBC Radio 2 hosts a night of live music from the Radio 2 Arena, Blackpool.
This year Blue are turning on the lights following in the footsteps of Ronan Keating, Steps, Westlife, Kermit The Frog, The Bee Gees, Shirley Bassey and Radio 2's own Terry Wogan.
Special guests performing at the BBC Radio 2 Arena include Blue, Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, Robin Gibb and Louise.
Blue's Antony Costa said: "We are all really looking forward to performing for Radio 2 in Blackpool. We love performing up north, the crowds always give it loads and we buzz off that on stage."
